Aavaas at the Garden of dreams

The musical magic of Aavaas is to come alive at the Garden of Dreams this 20th October evening. nepa~laya, the management company of this seasoned performer is incorporating this event as part of the opening festivity of the Garden of Dreams at Kaiser Mahal in Kathmandu.

Aavaas is a scholar of music having intense knowledge of both eastern and western music. The genre he practices and performs fall under Nepali Adhunik or Contemporary Nepali Songs. The beauty of this genre is that all three parts of the song – poetry, composition and singing plays equal role to enhance the creation.

Aavaas is a very picky composer / singer when it comes to picking lyrics. He does not tune the words till he is satisfied with it. Though there are only 10 recorded songs to his credit he has an additional bank of close to 50 songs – ready for exposure.
It is from this bank he picks out songs for his concerts.

Aavaas’ songs basically speaks about 2 aspect of life:
1. Aspects regarding love – happiness and sorrow related to it.
2. Social aspect of our existence.

Aavaas is a critically acclaimed singer and has one musical album – Pala Pala to his credit. A musical team of 10 will support him for a close to 2 hours show with Aavaas at the Garden of Dreams on the evening of 20th of October.
